We have had a positive off-season leading into the club's first campaign in the Premier Division. The aquisition of Jack Redhead and James Coe should bolster the batting, and Joshy Ring and Richard Hailstone likewise for the bowling.

Obviously previewing the season is hard, being very much in the dark as to what to expect in the Premier Division. All we can do as a playing group is to train and prepare well, and to commit ourselves to being available.

In my opinion we have a lot of talent and ability within the group, and I back the lads to consolidate this year with a mid-table finish. All that Ed and I can ask is that everyone gives their all this Summer; if there are no 'what-ifs' or regrets come September then we should be proud and I believe we will achieve that mid-table finish.

Best Wishes,

Keith Thomson, Vice-Captain
